Javier Moya, Student

Hello! I am Javier Moya, and I am a Massage Therapist in the State of Texas. I am currently working on my foundational massage therapy training through the Texas School of Massage, and seeing clients in the internship clinic at the school! I will be graduating from my program approximately March 2025, and after I receive my license to practice, I will be eligible to begin seeing clients!

I wanted to become a massage therapist because I realized that massage could truly help me and the people I love to overcome their pain. I have struggled with chronic pain since a young age, and things like massage and physical therapy have truly helped me along the years. I have even considered in the future possibly pursuing education in physical therapy as well as personal training! Above all else, I love helping people feel better and not struggle so much with chronic pain that I now know can be greatly helped through manual therapies.

I joined Interstellar Massage so that I could maximize my experiences as I work to become an advanced practicing massage therapist. I plan to grow my knowledge and my skills on the Interstellar team, and to pursue advanced training in modalities such as Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and more! Since I am not yet licensed, I cannot see clients outside of the internship clinic at Texas School of Massage, but you can definitely help me finish up my program by finding me there and booking an intern appointment! In the meantime, I am accepting pre-booking at the Interstellar Massage Clinic to start seeing clients in April 2025, contingent upon receiving my license!
